I didn’t get to say my goodbyes like the rest of the family. They were there when you took your last breath and I was stuck in a different state not knowing what was going on.

Everyone kept telling me that you know how much I wish I was there and how much I love you, but little do they know that that’s not what will make me feel better, that I was only there for you in spirit. I rather have told you myself for the last time, been there for you for the last time. You were such a strong women and I look up to you for that.

I know I’ll miss you Nana, miss visiting you, miss you’re stripe shirts or you scolding those you didn’t know or just yelling at the family, miss you holding your hand out for money, miss you holding my hand, miss you smiling cause your family is just around you, etc. and forsure I know I’ll miss saying my Nana, going to visit my nana, where’s nana and now that’s no more.

 I’m happy though, that you’re not suffering anymore. Not attached to a machine or taking so much medication. Not surrounded by so much strangers that who knows how they treated you, rather then your family. You’re in peace, in paradise with Tata. He’ll take care of you now, look over you and treat you right.
